  1. agreed diminished sun angle already a factor..
  2. does not feel as bad a previous hot spells in the city dewpoints still in the 60;s you can already tell summer is coming to a close..

  4. hopefully this is the last week until next spring nyc has a chance to reach 90 .. i am so looking forward to cool days gusty winds and crisp nights...
  5. right on cue a heavy shower now in upper manhattan..when i say upper just a few blocks from central park..hopefully this will put us over the top..
  6. These precipitation extremes were measured at Central Park and go back to 1869. During that time, the heaviest downpour recorded for a single day there was 8.28 inches (210.3 millimetres) on September 23, 1882.
  7. if we can get another inch or 2 we will i think have 2 months in a row over 10 inches in the park i wonder if that has ever happened before.
  8. nice breeze blowing from the north i assume the front has passed by..
  9. are you sure your temp is accurate i doubt you hit 90 earlier..
