i saw the broadcast and that is what he showed he is the weather expert..

yet he said in yonkers it showed snowfall rates of 1.4 inches a hour..

lee goldberg had a graph that showed even at it's best not even 1 inch a hour snowfall rates in the city the best was .0.8..and most was 0.5 to 0.6 so who knows...

I'll make this quick; I have to get on air and say something and try to sound smart. As of today's major runs and very latest meso/hi res updates, everything is seemingly being turned upside down. Like clothes in a dryer, the atmospheric pieces are still getting tossed around. The euro has been horrendous. Normally the stalwart, it now has a weaker storm, much farther south again. In the past 3 days, it has changed it's solutions and placement more than the average person changes their underwear (What...you don't change your underwear 4 times a day, do you? ) If this is the case, you can totally forget about 6-12" in the northern suburbs. If the snow isn't heavy enough in the City, it won't stick b/c it will be too warm. 3-6" of 'heavier snow' will now line up south of I-78 18z HRRR/nam nest- the heaviest accumultions now run between I-80 and I-78 from EPA/WNJ across LI. But again, that's using 10:1 ratios. ...which most likely will not verify. Too warm here at the surface. So I'm going to throw something against the wall and see what sticks and get on WCBS Newsradio 880 and come up with a forecast, which is sure to change again

nyc does not have snow days they go to remote learning....

i was listening this morning to craig allen before 7:00 am and he was predicting 1-3 for the city maybe 3 to 6 if the changeover is faster and heavier a lot of factors are taking place it been warm it will rain first and he also mentioned the daylight factor i.e sun angle lol..

the sun angle is so warm just yesterday i felt it..

this is what we are left with going down memory lane in one of the most boring snowless winters..

win or lose the yankees will be entertaining this year at the plate..

looking forward to milder weather and spring training baseball what a dud of a winter..

i went out this morning with a coat hoodie winter hat and temps were near 60 while i saw quite a few people wearing light open jackets or some people wearing t-shirts....

winters we had as children especially us older folks are from a bygone era...

looking forward to spring and warm weather...

i am use to getting winter rainstorms here in nyc since snow is becoming a rare occurance..

i watched the twc everyday when i get a chance... sometimes i look at the accuweather for like 2 minutes..

such lovely weather it would have been a perfect day for opening day at yankee stadium...

another day when i do not have to zipper my coat...
