  1. Been snowing here for about an hour but no accumulations yet
  2. Made it down to 8 here overnight. Very likely our last single digit low of the season
  3. Underperformed a bit in the upper 20s today. Super dry air around that should last into tomorrow. Dews around 0
  4. Made it to 56 yesterday. Only 2 degrees shy of a record high. we had a nice rally but unlike December and January we finished -0.8 instead of squeezing out a positive departure
  5. I’d like to point out we finally got our clipper train. It’s just bringing rain and scattered thunderstorms instead of snow
  6. Temp only got down to 35 but the combo of cold ground temps and heavy melting caused a lot of slick spots on roads and sidewalks
  7. Dipped down to 30 just after sunset. But then WAA kicked in and we’ve been hovering around 40 since. Melting well underway now
  8. Should nab 40 today. Snow cover really wasn’t taking much of a dent but will get demolished in the next few days
  9. If we’re looking medium range, there will likely be a brief cold shot next weekend and then another one toward the end of the week after. Otherwise things should be slightly above average. A switch to SW flow and more mild conditions around mid month look on track
  10. Touched -1 under calm conditions. That should be our last subzero low of the season
  11. down to -7 after a high of 9 yesterday. have been slightly overperforming each day so expecting 12-14 today and then 20+ starting tomorrow.
  12. I think we'll get a few more(less intense) cold/cool shots in the first two weeks of March, but around mid month there will be a switch flipped and it'll be off to the races
  13. Down to -13 here. Second coldest temp of the season. Yesterday overachieved a bit up to 7 so hoping the next few days can do the same
  14. Down to -5 here. Saw up to -9 on the car driving in to work. Today will be the coldest day and tonight will likely be the coldest night of the stretch
  15. some people will appreciate this, especially after the busts
  16. looks like we're done for the event. 4.0" yesterday, and 0.9" this morning. we'll get through this cold and then looking forward to more mild conditions starting a week from now
  17. Think we got another inch this morning. Maybe another .5 to 1” the rest of the day
  18. Measured 4” here with the snow winding down now. Quite the nice thump
  19. the NAM finally caved west of the lake, maybe an inch or so after the snow tonight
  20. Back edge about to hit here. Guessing we got 1” per hour rates
  21. Snow starting here. Vis dropped pretty quickly but flakes are very fine
  22. we're less than 12 hours out and the NAM somehow is still showing me getting almost 8" by midnight.
  23. I know I’m getting about 3” tonight but tomorrow could be 8” or 0” and i have no idea which way we’re headed
