  1. Things are looking CAD with a few stretchers of WAD mixed in
  2. a completely unforecast shortwave is moving through currently and giving us some rain. Models didn't really have anything until some sprinkles shown during the 18z runs
  3. I remember turning on the scanner for that, there were people stranded who need insulin and the paramedics were riding snowmobiles to reach them. Luckily they got there but were some tense times.
  4. nothing severe at work but lots of 1" hail through downtown Madison. Lots of good lightning and thunder as well
  5. severe warning for wind/hail. Storm moving into Dane county
  6. 30 year average for Detroit. 6.64”. 30 year average for Fort Myers. 5.64”
  7. .51” so far. Should easily pass 2” with the trowal tomorrow and the wrap around precip tomorrow night

  13. NSIDC extent at 4.28 and area at 2.63 with some time to drop more, especially extent. Definitely have had some excitement to end the melting season
  14. Had some pea sized hail with the initial round of storms. Nice line forming to our west and about to roll through now
  15. looks like we have the beginnings of an eye. also looks to be deviating a bit right of projected track
  16. you had a few HRs in the past month but looks like you'll go down swinging this time.
  17. Only got a few sprinkles last night. Hoping for a bit from some wrap around showers today. Otherwise drier air should be filtering in today, dews still in the upper 60s this morning
  18. record of 94 today at MSN. beat the old record by 2 degrees.
