Just woke up here in Brookline. Definitely an odd look with some parts of the driveway/lawn covered and others completely bare. Not really tied to an outcome, it’s just nice to see some snow falling and I’m excited to explore in it later in the day.
It sounds pretty wild outside right now in Brookline. Still have power, but have to imagine when the sun comes up there will be at least some branches down.
Light snow in Brighton right now. My guess for this storm is 9”, mostly because I don’t want to have to shovel more than that. So I’m gonna, ya know, just will that into existence.
Was going to get up and shovel here in Brookline so I didn’t have to do it all at the end, but the wind looks like it’s really whipping and my bed is warm. It’s a beautiful sight out there, though.
District called a “snow day” which just means we’ll be teaching from home...
They’re building a new herb chambers dealership on comm ave in Allston. Huge pieces of construction debris blowing off the building into the road. Police were removing it as I drove by.
I'm guessing 15"-16" (maybe more?) here straddling the Brookline/Brighton line but just can't get a completely accurate measurement. We did pretty well at the end there despite like 5 hours of crap in the middle.
Ha! I'll pick up one of those $5 chocolate bars while I'm at it.
It's definitely dumping right now, though. Can see it piling up on the shed out the back window, and I'd say we've cleared a foot at this point. It looks so pristine out there. Can't stop staring.
Ya'll should really get out there for a little walk around to revel in it before it goes away. It's beautiful out there, even when it's not snowing hard.
