I’m not sure this is the reason. I mean that’s the same stuff we heard 30 years ago. A successful lawsuit has to based on facts and actual damage that can be explicitly tied to what one party is suing some party for. If half the scouts suffer real frostbite I think BSA can legitimately called negligent given the long time we’ve seen this extreme cold coming. So moving it to a different weekend seems prudent.
