I couldn’t imagine using the term dungarees post 1980. I caved and wore jeans yesterday but in general, with the exception of teaching my course on Fridays I’m shorts May-September save for any formal events like weddings or funerals.

FWIW, that’s way above normal for the first week in June. Why do people expect 90s? It happens occasionally but usually not till later in the month or July.

People only jump for snow negative busts. I bet your family has restraints to keep you alive in those cases.

Remember low 80s next week would be well above normal. HHH (90 with dews) can happen but it’s relatively rare this early.

I actually don’t mind weekend rain. Keeps the population outside down when I’m out. I mean it’s not like I’m tied down indoors during the week save for Friday in the summer.

Actually, the modeled temperatures are mild so definitely not a repeat of late last week onward. But no one except the flora wants to see a rainy weekend and probably if anything it will be showery but probably not the gullywasher of Thursday and Friday.
