    Well-I stopped adjusting my sleep schedule to snow a long time ago. What will be will be and noted during my early am pee before returning for some more sleep.

    Yeah the snow will probably come but the discomfort may follow....hoping for a quick transition to a more powdery snow. Retention (which I could care less about) in either case isn't happening anywhere for most of us given. the warm wet event coming 2-3 days later.

    I thought the "wheelhouse" of HRR/RAP is inside of 12 hours. So late tomorrow/tomorrow evening they should be more valuable. NAM is probably reasonably useful starting at the 12Z run tomorrow imho.

    Euro seems much more coherent with the handoff from WAA to CCB and therefore keeps it colder and wetter.

    The idea of euro being less of a tool close in was debunked 15-20 years ago. It has I believe mesoscale components making it probably as valid or more vs the short term models. However, the short term models are updated hourly (some) and that brings more up to date data.

    Yeah we had a borderline event about 7 years ago where I had to go to Brookline Village Walgreens-literally 3.2 miles from my house. I was pounding to 6 inches and they were struggling with an inch of slop and white rain.
