Regarding 11-15. GEFS and eps are worlds apart though I guess we should wait for the 12z run to keep it comparable. GEPS looks more like GEFS vs eps.

It used to be cold biased 20 years ago but they overcompensated in some fixes and now often is too warm.

It was captured and stalled robbing areas not in the goods. Boston Area was perfectly placed.

EPS was decent but not great. It has been oscillating back and forth suggesting epic pattern is still >2 weeks away.

Link? i remember the first 3 weeks of January were bad in 2005 but we scored some snow in a shtty pattern until it looked better mid-month. When in past ninos were we swimming in snow at this point?
