Interior people always forget that eastern MA climo for snow comes with fewer events. If it’s cold enough, eastern areas win in a coastal-the end.

It took me about 10 minutes of comparison of 0z and 12z looking at nhem images but yeah I see it. Hopefully this settles some of the weenies down especially with the good snows eps spits out over the next 2 weeks.

The fact that GEFS continues to trend the other way is a POSSIBLE sign to me that eps may not have the right idea but since it’s in the long range we probably won’t know for awhile.

We don’t know the answers yet obviously but to automatically paint El Niño warm is just wrong. Some our most severe winters in the past 70 years being were during ninos, most with warm periods like we’ve experienced.

EPS is worlds apart from GEFS and GEPS. Let’s hope for a North American win!

Went to visit friends for dinner and movie-streamed the Big Lebowski-one of my all time favorites. When we got to our car to go home I had some slush on the windshield. Happy New Year friends!

No melt here. It is what it is. Changing my diet to almost all plant based and minimizing alcohol. Feeling better already. I just used this long extender to change one of my outdoor floods right under the roof line. Nice to do it from the ground minimizing the fall risk. It will winter when it winters.
