ICON is also a lot colder. Has BOS in the single numbers mid morning Sunday before it stops. Drops from 28 at 6am to 8 at 8am. Oh yes..and all snow.

I think the sleet will save the pack. The cutter as currently modeled doesn’t bring 50 dews and it is a short lived warmup.

The max snow number is 8. So if the model says BOS is getting 8 and ORE 18, both will have 8.

It was quite similar to 6z, about 20 miles north vs 0z with the mid levels. I. No way, shape, or form did it move to GFS which was 150 miles NW yesterday.

What Greg is referring to is the 20 mile change in the sleet line which occurred at 6z and hasn’t changed at 12z I think.
