This winter is increasingly reminding me of 1959-60. Total ratter but March was full winter starting with a blizzard using the old definition. I don’t expect that evolution especially since that was cold neutral but wx reminds me of that season. I just remember being in the car with my mother after another rainer around 2/26/60 observing the clearing and left over scud on the western horizon. The cold push afterwards was impressive and suddenly we wer off to the races.

But the warm parts of those winters had the AK pig as we did albeit short lived. I do t think either of those years had epo lime we’ve had this year which may be the biggest difference.

Agree but is that what raindance said in his forecast? I don’t think either of those are terrible analogs even if it’s not nearly as warm this year.

Lol...shut down ended (for now). I understand what you’re saying but if you were forecasting for $$ you’d get A for verification if the sensible wx mimics your thoughts. Even if it’s right for the wrong g reasons.

They all plow in winter. My landscaper does my snow.

Ya know....the pattern is eerily similar to immediately before the big snow blitz beginning on 1/26/15. Now all we need is a 60 hour hook and latter with that big ocean low. woke up on Saturday and suddenly the euro (on its own at that point) had us buried late Monday.
