  1. Clouds on satellite definitely thinning out. We may make a run post 3pm. Upper peninsula of MI looks like fun.
  2. Get ready for an above normal rest of summer probably into October.
  3. Tomorrow will feel more comfortable but the sun may be more searing.
  4. 34C KBOS. still enough sun to consider it. I’m holding onto the day I was in DC for work in 2006. Thy hit 101 in solid gray sky overcast.
  5. Temperatures will fail today. Tomorrow is progged clearer with lower dews so hopefully we can make it. Hundy takes work.
  6. I’m watching cirrus move in from the west but it seemingly thins as it moves east. Can the downslope effect do that to high clouds? BOS winds 300. 33/22C
  7. Late last night’s HRR did show clouds and the more or less 7-10 split in the pike region where it’s still clear.
  8. Wind has been roughly due west. Call 617-567-5762 for the minute by minute. Lol...I’m such a weenie... Anyway, 10:17 had a 290 wind direction and 33C.
  9. Would the downslope effect lower dews at coastal obs points like BOS?
  10. Winds 280 at BOS. theoretically that should heat us more this afternoon.
  11. In the 10 over 10 category-Logan should be 91 or higher at that hour.
  12. Woke up to pee at 7 and noticed filtered sun which created bad sleep till I woke up again. Now full sun and off to the races! If we can keep dews below 70 hundy is more than doable but it looks like we have to work harder to achieve it. Specific heat ftl?
  13. It’s noise at this point. Keep in mind 100 is tough to achieve. But let’s face it, many of us will be disappointed if we miss in the next 2 days. Those of you who are heat haters will suffer just as much with 97 vs 100 so we might as well achieve.
  14. Winds will be more westerly tomorrow. Even CHH has 90 in machine numbers as does every other cape station. Hot Saturday saw ACK hot 100. Best of luck.
  15. Sweating profusely on this walk. Shower #3 maybe early today
  16. Big potential fly in the ung is debris especially tomorrow.
  17. Maybe but it isn’t having much trouble putting hundies left and right for the weekend.
  18. Probably be 90+ there tomorrow and Sunday
  19. It would have been hotter at BOS if it didn’t take until mid afternoon to flip offshore.
