To a degree. I climbed mount whitney in August of 1982. Snow in patches above 11k and solid above 12,500. It actually thundersnowed where we pitched our tent at trail camp elevation 12,500. Tough climb above that point and gasping for air once we hit 14,000. I have a picture somewhere with me at the summit. Hopefully I’ll find it sometime...

Back in NNJ Manero’s was the cat’s meow....where your parents took you after dad got his bonus...lol. I can’t remember where but pretty sure it was somewhere in Bergen County.

The main takeaway is the fact that we now have those soft summer evenings and the feel of the season that we remember from our childhood. Last night I got home by 6:15. After dinner I headed out to hike in the hood including time in the woods. Lathered up with heavy duty deet and while bugs were around, they avoided me. Deet FTMFW.

My thermostat is 72 summer and 68 winter

Lol...I dropped to 65 and that’s warm for mby. I didn’t check this am because I couldn’t find the doggie leash. Walk today was untethered.

Stagnant air alone will do it. Happens frequently during October with a stable airmass that is warm but low dews.

We’re rocketing today despite the haze. BOS 86 at 10am.

I mean the highest dews are with an incoming tropical system and there are few air quality concerns then.
