    We did Daikin ductless in our last house for all heating and cooling. Worked great but winter electric bill was astronomical.

    Speaking of lightning strikes, I was on approach to DCA around 30 years ago and the plane got hit. Extremely bright and you’d think the plane would shake but it didn’t. Pilot came on the intercom and said “yes we were struck by lightning”.

    It’s amazing the a few miles from Boston I leave my doors unlocked while you in the country have break ins. What’s going on there? hot and humid today!

    True story. We have a 12 year old golden retriever. When she was around 2 our daughter was 11. We were vacationing on a lake in NH near the ME line. It was a hot day and she went out on the lake on a big tire raft. The dog decided she was out too far and swam to her, put the rope tow line her mouth, and swam her to shore. I have a photo of it somewhere...an amazing moment!

    Surf....reliable on jersey shore growing up....maybe some beaches in New England but jersey followed by California spoiled me...

    I said ratter but true...it’s way too early. I think I can take a reasonable wag around Labor Day. On the plus side...we’re due for decency in winter sort of. I’m still coming for you mreaves!

    Maybe it was the 70s in January that made it reasonable..., My snow was my lowest since I moved into this house but that’s only 5 years. You’re right thought..l.a major ratter but 2011-12 and 2001-02 felt worse. This WS more along the lines of 1994-95.
