  2. Good for you on a hot day! We’re looking at Underhill. Stowe, Montpellier. Ideas? Probably a year or 2 out.
  3. I’ve loggged 16 calls today to 617-567-5762 today. I’m a sick man..
  4. We know what the flags are on the tall pole-what are the others? Maybe the higher one on the right a Red Sox?
  5. Logan just flipped offshore. Looks like it will officially hot 90-day 1 of probably 3 or 4.
  6. Lol. My gf (later my wife) looked considerably different...me on the other hand....
  7. While we’re talking heat, let’s discuss hot Saturday 1975 and the days leading in. The day before (8/1/75) hir 98 at Logan, at that time the hottest in >5 years. It was that classic hot town summer in the city feel. My girlfriend and I went to eat dinner at this place near Washington Square Brookline -middle eastern place named Havanagila. I was grooving in the heat! I was living in the south end-the old piano factory and had a great apartment shared with my buddy. I won the coin toss and my bedroom was the loft. Damn it was hot! Must have been 87-88 at midnight. The winds on hot Saturday were perfect-WNW as I recall...enough to pop ACK to 100! I was supposed to be watering my friend’s plants-he lived on Comm Ave Brighton and had ac so we retreated there. The next day we walk outside and it’s 40 degrees cooler. One of the all timer doors! The same day I’m watching a ball game from Pittsburgh and it’s upper 90s.
  8. Awful wx. Struggling to 70 in mid July should be illegal
  9. Coworker was telling me how nice it was yesterday. My response...way too cool for summer.
  10. That’s a great thread....not sure how I missed it! Randolph is nearly perfect because you’re also actually near enough to civilization. That’s what attracts me to Stowe. I have to be in striking distance of medical care at this point and some places don’t have that option. But digging into Randolph that’s a great location! Not sure what I’d do with a lot of land at this point in my life though....
  11. Back to looking towards Stowe,VT. We can sell, buy for straight cash and pocket the difference. Triple my snow in the process...
  12. Nah I’m a few $$ below o suspect. Not poor but by no means rich.
  13. He can build a home and show me again how to ski!
  14. Interesting thing is this pandemic cured me of wanting to eat out. Simpler life which hopefully continues on the other side. So you’re saying consider GC?
  15. We’re actually looking in Maine as well. Maine is less tax friendly vs MA/PA but better vs VT.
  16. Yup. But I do like PIT. Also northern VT but winters are too long...
  17. Hmmm.....well I talk about leaving the area and never do all the time..
  18. Let me know after we move when you’re visiting. Of course this move may take a few years...
  19. Lol...dead serious. Same tax benefit for a lot of my income as MA. About the same amount of climo snow as Boston. Been many times and love the city. Both MA and PA do not impose state income tax on SS and govt pensions which will likely be half of our income.
  20. Seriously thinking about a move to Pittsburgh. Buy a nice house for cash, nice city, nice area. Anyone know the snow situation? Climo seems similar to Boston
  21. Honestly the vibe I’m feeling is typical summer in SNE. NNE it is extraordinary though.
  22. I would argue mank has to have overcast. We had sun but very humid until yesterday when it was warmer and drier.
