    Big snow falling and accumulating frequently makes the winter for me. Minimal ice. Ice and age in the 70s or higher is a bad combination.

    Huge and powerful line. Our phones blew up with a tornado warning but rather than seek shelter we went into it. Heaviest rain I’ve seen in a long time with hail but thankfully we eluded car damage. Beautiful evening now in Chicagoland.

    We get out hemlocks treated for them about once every 5-7 years. They’re destroyers.
