  1. Cmon Wolfie...it’s ok to say the potential is there 10 days out....our mets in this forum do it all the time. If some weenie can’t take it if it changes that’s on them.
  2. It happens every gd year. Even in 2010-11 the Boxing Day storm melted with a mega torch a few days later. Wire to wires almost never happen sadly.
  3. Have you had a single winter that lived up to your standards since moving here?
  4. In 2017, we were at our annual gtg at Clarke’s when Scooter and Will pull up the 84 hour NAM which was the first model showing a cold caddy high. Prior to that it was a similar prog to the euro today. Ended up being a cold and snowy xmas morning and icy turning to flakes xmas eve.
  5. Ironic that this weekend is about as ideal as it gets....
  6. Every fukking year. No point fighting it. I’ll never forget the near 70 xmas eve 2014. A month later we partied like never before.
  7. Kind of like my Chicago relatives telling me how much more snow they get vs Boston trying to get me to move there.
  8. I don’t think I’ve had this much snow otg in the 5 years I’ve lived in this house. I’ve had one slightly larger storm but no way this much snow 2 days later.... Could be a fun winter. Squirrels were fat too.
  9. I don’t think the duration of the potential torch is enough to melt the current pack. There’s enough water so that post frontal it should be intact. And keep in mind I’m not a snowpack guy so no positive bias here.
  10. When you have a big December dump there’s always a pattern flattening. Think 1960, 1975, 2010. A ton of winter is left and I’ll be really surprised if the big 4 are not above normal snow wise once winter is over.
  11. I want if melted from all paved surfaces. PITA otherwise. It can stay in the woods and the hills and dales. Just get it the fuk off sidewalks.
  12. It’s a practicality. I’m not going to try to shovel over a foot manually in my mid 70s. But multiple times make it less stressful on my body and overall more exercise.
  13. BOS final is 13.1. Ranked up there for December storms.
  14. BOS 12.9 as of 1PM. May go over 13 with the light snow of the afternoon. Final shoveling done and measurement taken: 14.1 is my final and im quite pleased.
  15. My thinking is all? BOS waiting since their number in PNS was from 8:20 AM.
  16. First time RGEM didn’t mess things up in a long time. Let’s see if it’s repeatable
  17. Highly rated. Then again I can shovel for you and have all of your neighbors give you dirty looks all winter...
  18. OT but maybe a little fun Monday night or Tuesday next week?
  19. Did you see your old digs at JP have 13 inches last report?
  20. Still accumulating in light snow. Need to go out AGAIN to shovel but probably not until it actually stops snowing. Very satisfying storm but I wish I went to bed later to catch the WCB but I caught some of it as I drifted off. Snow at 4AM was dammed strong. Other issue is Tim long-would have liked day into evening. But I also realize I’m fine shoveling manually and thankful I can. What better way to be out in the snow?
