  1. Hopefully isolated. There was a frenzy in our neighborhood a few years ago when a guy who was a drug addict was watching homes and when someone left checked to see if the door was open and if anyone else was home. If the house was empty, he’d go through unlocked doors. He was apprehended quickly. We still don’t lock our doors outside of overnight. Likely the car in Tolland was unlocked.
  2. Hi Gene. It’s been an odd season. A nice big mid December dump that vaporized by the grinch more efficiently than I can remember in a long time. A total dud January until the last week and a pretty good February. Let’s see what March has in store. Yeah you are meh but the Maine folks have endured misery.
  3. Intermittent sun is great to melt the icy spots. I salted the driveway and cleared away the ice patches an hour later. Now I need rain to dissolve the salt.
  4. Hold it March 10. But if it happens, enjoy. I will take my heat and dews and be happy for a spell.
  5. Thursday was a shit show. Site crashed and my wife couldn’t book her 2nd shot until hours after returning home late at night. She had to verify eligibility but I didn’t when I went. Gillette really was good!
  6. Kind of reminds me of a beautiful clear May morning with a cold pool and cloudy chilly and showery in the PM.
  7. Tons of pack. Amazingly we lost little during the brief turd event earlier in the week. Probably missed a bit but I went upstairs at 3:15 AM after shoveling the additional several inches that came after the first shoveling. Thought I saw a weenie flake just now....radar looks like something is coming in for a brief stay.
  8. This 6.6 brings me to 54 and change for the season. Last years full season total was 23.90
  9. Calling it final. 6.6. Exceeded my expectations
  10. I was thinking that actually. And the odd March events could put them up to or over 50.
  11. Ripping fatties. Up to 6.1 as of about 30 minutes ago.
  12. I see officially BOS is 4.5 and counting. They may hit 6.
  13. Fatties at wegmans...the snowflakes that is..
  14. I don’t get the bitching. It’s not a big event. But it’s a beautiful wintry scene out there. Spectacular day. I do understand the annoyance of the workers commuting. In my full time work life today would be a huge pain but I’d have enjoyed it on some level.
  15. Ripping nicely as the band from the west catches up with the nice oes band regenerating over us.
  16. Well fellas....heading to Naples,FL end of next week. Taking care of wife’s parents who will come down the day after we get there. I’m looking forward to warmth which looks good there! Returning for one more run maybe in mid March. Flight to and from should be a pain with all the PPE we’ll be donning......actually mask, face shield, gloves so not terrible but a lot more than normal. Incidentally round trip air for both of us combined is $250. Crazy cheap!
  17. Pretty close also at BOS. They are at 34.5 as of 7AM today They’ll need 10 more tho and it’s getting late.
  18. I’ve seen the shit not accumulate in marginal temperatures
  19. It’s a garbage argument tbh. We’ll see. Heavier snow will readily accumulate
  20. We snow. 2.6 so far. Up earlier than normal for 10AM meeting but it’s a nice snow with temperature of 24. I’m presuming Scott is trolling with his napeuary crap.
