We’ve leased 5 CV-Vs and 2 Accords. I’m due for replacing the Accord but I’m seriously considering buying it for the remaining $14k and then sell for 20+. Very low mileage 2018.

Kind of pisses me off that I’m restricted from swimming for at least another month. I can’t get sweat in my eye either restricting my ability to walk in the middle of the day. Took the dog for a loop-really had to work to keep the sweat away.

It worked for my snow this past winter. I kick myself for not getting the option that doesn’t force me to do all the pushing.

I’ve seen aurora masked as lightning. We were in the Boundary Waters/Quetico in August 1998. A string of clear warm days with “heat lightning” at night. Eventually it seemed closer and we were treated to 4 days of full blown northern lights.

One of those great moments! Weenies win!

Hopefully better by now. Benadryl and ice for swelling locally. We had a guy who got stung in his cornea about 5-6 years ago. Removing the stinger was not fun! End result was fine. Hopefully you are getting there if not all the way yet.

Back in my heyday a long run would require vasoline be put around and on the nipples to minimize chafing. Feet and toes also. But being out in constant ctg nearby definitely takes the case for insanity. Among the worst and most helpless feelings.

My vision. First returns cautiously indicate success but the intracameral meds injected behind the IOL delay the gratification by a few days frequently. Awake the whole time-kind of like half a dose of colonoscopy sedation. Brilliant surgeon-was admiring his technique from the patient eye view. I did do the stupid thing and took a slow 1 mile walk about an hour ago. I wanted to make sure it was fully light to minimize unseen obstacles. I was a bit shaky when I got home. Should be ok tomorrow or the next day. By then hopefully we get a few half decent days...

My hope is family vacation in WI in late August is nice. I’ve given up on this summer. OT but beautiful view from the waiting room/check in area in the surgery center of MEEI. Overlooks the Charles- reminds me what a jewel this city is.

July is climo wise the driest month of the calendar year. Not in 2021!

It rained harder a week ago.

Incidentally for those 65+, fully vaccinated rate is high in the whole country. Fwiw it’s 100% in every New England state except CT where it’s 99.8%.
