Mask twist: While we were I Chicago for 6 weeks one of the family members had symptoms of a cold-tested and negative for covid. The cold spread to about half the family-everyone tested and negative. So the cold people started masking around other family members especially to protect the oldest. It was ironic that the only ones masking were known to be covid negative. Incidentally I’m one of the lucky ones-didn’t get the cold yet despite my wife and daughter having to endure it last week and the week before. I’m of the belief that if you vaccinate you’re pretty close to having no chance of covid but that’s beside the point of the post.

Everything is custom. As far as multi focal-resoundingly no!

Lol....if that suddenly becomes the bad eye it happens quickly. Otherwise probably December. Damn..it’s busy being retired!

One heckuva WAR on the euro next week. Cataract surgery for me right eye Tuesday.

Here we go-another period of rain and wind but thankfully this one without the mid April temperatures. Decent rain and blow upcoming and finally I’m home for it.

Pretty strong cell moved over us in Erie PA around 10AM. Should be home for the first time in 44 days by 9-10PM

Last weekend in Chicagoland-nearing 90 today with full sun. Heading out Monday and plan to be home Tuesday evening. Intense 6 weeks but we’re thankful we could help my FIL in the final weeks of his life-counting FL we’ll have booked 3.5 months together since I retired from full time work 9 months ago.

Wow I feel for your weekend! Should be summery here in Chicagoland. We’re heading home Monday and should arrive byTuesday. Glad we drove (although my wife flew ahead). Six weeks of car rental would have been high.

Thankfully I’m away for the first 2 and possibly Labor Day as well.

Coastal on the Independence Day weekend and a Bermuda high on Christmas. Sounds about right. Looks hot again for a spell next week. Bad timing.

Also, for BOS today marks 9 AOA 90 for June which is quite impressive given climo for the first 20 days of the month.

Through June through 6/29: BOS: +6.2* ORH: +4.6 PVD: +3.4 BDL: +3.1 *. Probably 2F too warm?

Speed limit is 70 in OH/IN too.

So BOS probably 93-95 legitimately given MQE may be a few ticks higher now. Not sure what the next one will be….could be 96 so probably 2F high?
