  1. Nice find! Joni did not age well. A heavy smoker and survived a ruptured brain aneurysm.
  2. One thing I heard about is monoclonal antibodies are working really well. You may recall that Trump had those and recovered quickly from being pretty sick. Chris Christie and Donald Trump are kind of poster boys for high risk individuals but both recovered fairly fast. These are now readily available and in some poorer rural communities they are being used with good success.
  3. It’s hard to predict. Our 90 year old neighbor with COPD and a host of other underlying conditions got covid, was hospitalized in the ICU but survived and is home. Also, with regard to the California vs Florida argument it makes sense in a way. Older people tend to be a lot more careful with covid, social distancing, masking etc. We’ll be there by the weekend and see for ourselves but everything I’m hearing says the oldsters are being pretty careful while in California the younger folks don’t give as much of a shit.
  4. You climbed in winter? I’ve done it in autumn but I salute you for winter!
  5. To be fair, recorded history for yby is really paltry isn’t it?
  6. No George you miss my point. 2nd year big ninas are most often terrible winters here.
  7. You get the most screwed in a reasonably decent winter award.
  8. If we get a record strong nina next year after this years robust nina it typically means major major dead ratter next winter.
  9. That system is nearly the exact difference between you and I. I probably have some elevation in you and somehow managed 9 inches of cement.
  10. The reality is unless you have it on your holster all the time which is doubtful you can easily be overrun by a criminal with a gun. The first time I went to Israel I thought I was in the Wild West. Guys walking around packing with guns on their belt wheeling around their 4-6 kids..lol. That was about 30 years ago
  11. I’ve always presumed our big dog not too happy with an intruder beat locks all day every day. Hey Kevin...you packing?
  12. Hopefully isolated. There was a frenzy in our neighborhood a few years ago when a guy who was a drug addict was watching homes and when someone left checked to see if the door was open and if anyone else was home. If the house was empty, he’d go through unlocked doors. He was apprehended quickly. We still don’t lock our doors outside of overnight. Likely the car in Tolland was unlocked.
  13. Hi Gene. It’s been an odd season. A nice big mid December dump that vaporized by the grinch more efficiently than I can remember in a long time. A total dud January until the last week and a pretty good February. Let’s see what March has in store. Yeah you are meh but the Maine folks have endured misery.
  14. Intermittent sun is great to melt the icy spots. I salted the driveway and cleared away the ice patches an hour later. Now I need rain to dissolve the salt.
  15. Hold it March 10. But if it happens, enjoy. I will take my heat and dews and be happy for a spell.
  16. Thursday was a shit show. Site crashed and my wife couldn’t book her 2nd shot until hours after returning home late at night. She had to verify eligibility but I didn’t when I went. Gillette really was good!
  17. Kind of reminds me of a beautiful clear May morning with a cold pool and cloudy chilly and showery in the PM.
  18. Tons of pack. Amazingly we lost little during the brief turd event earlier in the week. Probably missed a bit but I went upstairs at 3:15 AM after shoveling the additional several inches that came after the first shoveling. Thought I saw a weenie flake just now....radar looks like something is coming in for a brief stay.
  19. This 6.6 brings me to 54 and change for the season. Last years full season total was 23.90
  20. Calling it final. 6.6. Exceeded my expectations
  21. I was thinking that actually. And the odd March events could put them up to or over 50.
  22. Ripping fatties. Up to 6.1 as of about 30 minutes ago.
  23. I see officially BOS is 4.5 and counting. They may hit 6.
  24. Fatties at wegmans...the snowflakes that is..
