  1. Hundreds of thousands? You have a link to this horseshit? I know a lot of doctors and nurses across the country. Near 100% vaccination rate among them. I love you but stop selling.
  2. Not for what I was laser focused on buying.
  3. Sky has cleared-time for summer. Time to enjoy August.
  4. So I did a shopping run earlier this evening. Costco, Whole Foods, some specialty items. Old folks like me for the most part masked as did black people which maybe lends some credence on the low vaccination rate in that demographic?
  5. It’s how he makes his living-he has 4 kids. Let’s be smart here….
  6. I think you have the personality of the forum down!
  7. Like I said a day or 2 ago-lines in the sand. We should all be looking for common ground..
  8. Wait-while driving alone? That’s insane. I didn’t even have to do that in private space at a hospital when I was working.
  9. 38% of African Americans have had one dose. Kff.org
  10. I get the frustration but that’s the way the proverbial cookie crumbles. Companies make decisions that employees may not like.
  11. Yeah for us it was an easy decision but I probably would have no matter work being a health worker during my full time work days.
  12. I am not sure what you are saying.....unless things get catastrophic 1918 style lockdowns are over-and frankly other than public transportation including air and rail and the health care system masks are not required. Each company assesses their risk and determines what to do based on their risk management. That’s how private enterprise works. As airlines require employees to be vaccinated, I think you’ll see that fact being advertised and the public shying away from those that don’t.
  13. So at the beginning of the pandemic, I saw some presentations by docs who treated the first wave. They stated that morbidly obese have the highest risk of severe disease and death so this isn’t new-anyone matching covid obits and pictures could see it. However, plenty of low risk people got it, survived, but are long haulers. I get the return to normalcy but none of us have fun having a cold either. Avoidance of a disease having a higher mortality and morbidity rate than what might be acceptable to the health care system makes sense to me. I’m pretty confident I’d survive covid being vaccinated and reasonably healthy despite being in my mid 70s. But why would I want to test that presumption?
  14. Lines drawn in the sand. Let’s just try to find what most agree on and build from there.....I’m gonna start with snow....
  15. It looks like delta will be gone by autumn.
  16. Regarding federal enforcement of the workforce including contractors-it always takes a long time to execute but you would think this is sort of urgent or why bother? I think you’ll all have guidance within 1-2 weeks. Isn’t there a “by this date clause”?
  17. Lol....they’re indoors here at 100 also....but not me!
  18. Have a great time Dave! We’re hoping to go in the winter.
  19. I’m not sure how this narrative got started but have you ever been to FL in summer? Everyone is outside only coming in for the daily downpours. I mean with this logic everyone from NYC south would huddle indoors all summer.
  20. It will still change to rain in Eastie....
