  1. November/December 1995 had good snow. January 96 got the meaty goods to BOS. March and April had above normal snow but nothing like November through February.
  2. BOS had 96 in 93-94. So I’m thinking OES enhancement plus less sleet made the difference? Right up there with 1960-61, 1995-96, and 2014-15.
  3. So looking at all 3 ensemble products today I have some musings..z 1. The pig is chased maybe for an extended spell. 2. SE ridge-all I need is a smidge…so can I have some attitude with my latitude? Or do I turn gruff when my latitude is not enough. Full speed ahead folks-its coming!
  4. I was thinking that when I stayed up for the 0Z eps. My thought was damn...3 wave pattern-could be a fun winter!
  5. Does anyone not these days? I learned when my daughter was an adolescent...lol. But yeah I’ll be busy!
  6. HS class of ‘65? I was nearing 31 when my oldest came. Hard to conjure the fact that he’s now pushing mod 40s. Of course being in LA snow wasn’t a factor.
  7. Lol…..my oldest was born in 1977-and I was not that young of a parent.
  8. Having fun booking days in DR 2/22-3/2. Not going wire to wire.
  9. It got a little breezy here but you could hear and see the wind roaring just above me. Not much now save for dews.
  10. Yeah I saw your post and thought maybe yes. Doesn’t give a great feeling about bb security….
  11. I don’t think we’ll shake it much. NNE should do pretty well though and with enough nao help and good timing SNE also at times.
  12. I’m definitely an outlier. I am a night owl who had a day job I had to get up early for during my entire 50 year career. I’d sleep in weekends and struggle through the week. When I retired, I vowed to get 7-8 hours sleep per night. Not having to get up early is a godsend. When the kids were small, we got up with them like all parents but now that the nest is empty there’s no need. My friends all want me to go to breakfast with them but I defer to a late lunch or dinner. Some of these old farts go to bed before Kevin. Occasionally I have meetings for my side gigs but I avoid scheduling anything before 11-12 and since work is all remote it’s low stress. Still dark but warming now-up to 50.
  13. 42 and rain. So dark I slept until past Noon (in fairness I went to bed near 4AM). One mild week and then we have some fun I think. The pattern change begins 12/18 and is complete 1/1.
  14. A great story of a weenie! https://www.newyorker.com/news/persons-of-interest/the-man-who-predicted-climate-change?utm_source=nl&utm_brand=tny&utm_mailing=TNY_Daily_Control_121021&utm_campaign=aud-dev&utm_medium=email&utm_term=tny_daily_recirc&bxid=5e44b73d7e553f191312707b&cndid=60057708&hasha=197334e55870d9d5e0255989c02f7900&hashb=9912c9e7fd561d481c433900e86635cd8e7098a0&hashc=5e15b6390ba4bf56284fefb23752420518b0ee702a1d01eb81af23ae73756fb8&esrc=sailthru-optout&mbid=CRMNYR012019
