The only way this happens is if the low blows up, wraps up, and draws cold. Right now it kind of looks like crap but that has about a day to change.

Pellets with occasional flakes. Street is white with sleet cover unless it was earlier snow. Just took doggie out-able to walk on top of my pack now.

Definitely transitioning to a predominant snow (teeny flakes) scenario now.

Can confirm that here as well. Pretty wintry and not in a pleasant way.

Lindsay storm like. But it worked. That gave me the February 69 vibe. 100 hour storm similar but I was on the outside for that one in Ithaca.

Yeah we’re not gonna be let out gently. A warm March is a gift but I’m sensing a snowy one along with February. It really does have a 1969 vibe as I remember that month...

That will mitigate the likelihood of ice dams which were a big potential with colder temps and more snow quickly.

I still have a solid 8 inches cover. Lack of sun doesn’t hurt but hopefully I lose most overnight......not sure...

That was the all timer. And then relentless cold keeping walkways treacherous for weeks.

Had to get my weekly covid test for one of my work gigs so I took the opportunity to drive around. All waterways solid ice. Charles all the way to the Science Museum and beyond actually looks walkable! Muddy River mainly frozen and that’s no easy task! Jamaica Pond frozen solid. Probably at least a foot on the ground still. Deepest winter in the Boston area in years with plenty of cold on the way. Would not mind losing more snow though-losing all of it ensures my walking safety. But it will do what it will do so I have no say in the matter.

Meanwhile my Chicago relatives still think they’re getting buried. ITTTE
