  1. That’s the cdc recommendation. 3 months which is why I had to wait until past early October. Truthfully I think prior covid gives more immunity than most think for up to 6 months.
  2. We’re heading up to northern VT for the first weekend in December. Hopefully wintry.
  3. That was my experience in July. Except milder. Big time fatigue but otherwise not bad and by d5 I was fine. I got my 5th shot yesterday (heading to a meeting with 8000 next week on the west coast). Reaction was stronger vs the 3 prior boosters. All clear today after a long sleep. It sounds like you’re on the mend-hopefully quickly!
  4. Agree. Dank and dark and aob normal for November is preferred.
  5. I think people fear 2011-12 where it set up early and sat on us.
  6. That's 2009-10. 2010-11 was pretty strong in the snow department and that's what he was referring to.
  7. I was in my old location and got around a foot but no complaints as it was my first of many legit events after returning from 15 years of exile in LA. 18 months earlier.
  8. I think there may be some supply issues with fuel for electricity. Seriously thinking of getting a generac which should be an excellent selling point when the time comes to move. Will have to fork over probably around 7k at least so I'm not diving in head first just yet.....
  9. I’m heading out to San Diego 10/24, heading up to LA on 10/28, and. The SF Bay Area where we’ll be leaving from SFO 11/3. I expect to be in at least partial winter mode upon our return,
  10. I’m still trying to figure out who Mike Judge is......
  11. JD, the worst situation for snow enhancing is having mountains on either side of you. Either blast them away or move to the east slope!
  12. Happy retirement! On 10/1/2020, my first day after retiring 9/30/2020 it was around 80.
  13. I had turned the heat off late last week but my wife insisted it go back on last night and that’s not a hill to die on…lol.
  14. I just read the whole thing and that’s not what he said. He did allude to October 2011 and mild for New England but snowfall not far from normal (80-90% for most of us). 2011-12 brought about 20% of normal snow for much of SNE.
  15. 36 for a low here. Autumn progressing nicely.
  16. Probably because their growing season ended already.
  17. Yeah. I have to suppress some of Waters’s viewpoints to enjoy the incredibly making music and lyrics but I’ve been a huge fan since the mid 70s.
  18. Yes. My Mother’s date of death in 1995 coinciding with my middle son’s 15th birthday. Yet heavy snow on the way to Logan en route to Rochester (which we left 1 day earlier when mom seemed to stabilize). A lot of mixed feelings but the snow lifted my spirits. Heavy LES the 2 weeks we spent in Rochester. One of my favorite times that winter was walking 5 miles home in heavy snow-with a wicked head cold.
  19. J.D., I asked around-no one remembered-including me! So now we have it without scrolling through threads for an hour. Could be a fun winter incoming! Or it could suck. We're always in first place before the season starts.
  20. I caved and turned on the heat. Definitely an early fall here this year.
