    This has been a miserable winter. I’m not going through this again. Contemplating 2 months in warmth next year-logically February and March but getting through January without snow sucks so it could be 12/15-2/15.

    This in some ways resembles an event around 1/7/97-exact date may be off but an impulse that was to completely miss us was heading in from KY. My wife watching TWC was jumping up and down that we were getting nailed. BOS got around 7 inches which is pretty much what the metro got. Xc skied all day in the snow.

    But without baseball most of the young players are no longer rich. Owners are rich no matter what and they’re pissed off.

    Yes. But I think the players have much more to lose. Free agents aren’t getting signed and owners can afford to lose half a season or more. I’m not optimistic and hopefully wrong.

    This is a good question. They caved at d4 so maybe not especially if they nail the pattern for the d4-5 period now. All I know is this didn’t happen in the old days
