  1. 58 here now. I am going on a walk and lunch with my friend and I have to reconsider my standard t shirt and sweater and just go with the t. February 16th.
  2. Looks like you have to clear your cache....UKMET looked quite good. GFS much improved. CMC worse. Ride the ensembles still.
  3. We tried to do that to Barry Burbank 14 years ago but they shoed us into a room away from their regular patrons-JJ Foleys close to 3/1/09. Burbank was talking 1-3/2-4 and weenies were going wild. Fwiw verification was 8 inches.
  4. Can you imagine the look on Kevin’s face when the dispensary asks for his drivers license?
  5. For you. For me it was eps which makes sense given the high n making the mean less subject to bigger skews from extreme outliers. You’ll do ok-not sure about pike south though.
  6. I would argue the GEFS snow maps are the least valuable given the fact that the 15 members can have 25% full weenie skew the mean quite a bit. Much less of an issue on eps with 51
  7. I call them as I see them. Somehow this one needs more clarity and that’s still really hard at this lead. Maybe we’ll have a more consistent direction by the weekend.
  8. Wolfie, the ensembles took a step back also. At some point one has to acknowledge that seasons do have “personalities”.
  9. No one. I’m taking literary license with hyperbole. So far today’s 12z runs along with 0z is a step back.
  10. Hold onto futility as long as you can-changes coming real soon it will snow again..thank you JCM
  11. The feet of snow is evaporating before it forms. This winter being this winter.
  12. Yeah I didn’t see much change. I guess the qpf queens can quibble but it was a nice look.
  13. Personally, Twitter is a distraction on almost all levels. I stay here to learn and do more intensive research than what can be gleaned in 280 characters.
  14. Who has been forecasting non stop cold and snow? Even George hasn't.
  15. It’s not me, it’s the new snowblower.
  16. Nevertheless it still would give many more snow on the front end than has occurred cumulatively all winter.
  17. Lol…she’s now getting adamant that we should leave a week later if at all shortening the trip. Looks like we may be here at least an extra week.
  18. Well between my wife’s broken arm and this threat my trip my be in jeopardy…..I can tell she’s looking for an excuse to not go. And I may now have one….but it’s still way off in the distance.
  19. The elephant in the room but this time everyone sees it.
  20. Perfect timing as we go to FL on the 23rd and return 3/9.
  21. When I was in LA and in private practice in the early 80s I had a patient who was one of those guys. I always had them schedule him at the end of the day-we’d finish my work and then go to the office to weenie out for an hour…lol
  22. I remember the red ball on ponds-is that just a NNJ thing? We used to go to Tokaloka Pond off of the Hackensack River in a part that was not yet badly polluted back in the late 50s. 'We'd play hockey all day on the pond. During those years there was always good late March snow often with open water so we'd play in the snow in the woods all day. Kids today don't seem to do that anymore-and they don't realize what they're missing.
