    This frigid shot was as good as a blizzard to me. BOS hits -10….thought it couldn’t be done but it happened seemingly easily. My wife and I went out at the peak near midnight for a walk-her idea making this a good marriage! Every part of our faces covered-hers with a cloth mask and pull down hats and me with a contraption that did the same. I then fortified mine with 2 hats and earmuffs, heavy gloves and fleece mittens over. I was wearing fleece lined pants bought 2 years ago and finally able to be worn! It was a special event!

    I always thought mine as 1-1.5 too low. But the relative change is still happening albeit slowing down.

    But to 78blizzard’s point, we used to go below zero most years but it’s been much less frequent in the past 35 years.

    Better turn your water off of it’s not back quickly. At the very least run a little from all faucets.

    I’m looking forward to a midnight walk. I announced it on eastern in 2004 and cut it to 3 miles but survived. In 2004 the inside of my glasses were rimed with ice. Pixie dust was happening. What could have been without some clouds!

    Strangely enough I’m considering a super late night for this that I no longer do for snow.
