Do like I've seen them do in LA. Put a faux snow cover made of some cottony material on the lawn. You go into neighborhoods during the holidays and they used to be all over the place. They kind of lost their luster after a few rainy xmas eve's made them all shrivel up and look ridiculous......

The science suggests you should leave some leaves on the lawn to enhance spring’s growth via composting. It shouldn’t bother you since the lawn will be under deep snow all winter right?

Let’s elevate it to flu. But either way I’d rather not have one. Sucks being sick. But if I were nearing 50 vs nearing 76 I’m not sure I’d be as diligent. All a matter of managing personal risk. It shouldn’t infuriate anyone if we each make decisions based on our personal risk management with no effect on anyone else.

That’s the cdc recommendation. 3 months which is why I had to wait until past early October. Truthfully I think prior covid gives more immunity than most think for up to 6 months.

That was my experience in July. Except milder. Big time fatigue but otherwise not bad and by d5 I was fine. I got my 5th shot yesterday (heading to a meeting with 8000 next week on the west coast). Reaction was stronger vs the 3 prior boosters. All clear today after a long sleep. It sounds like you’re on the mend-hopefully quickly!

I was in my old location and got around a foot but no complaints as it was my first of many legit events after returning from 15 years of exile in LA. 18 months earlier.

I think there may be some supply issues with fuel for electricity. Seriously thinking of getting a generac which should be an excellent selling point when the time comes to move. Will have to fork over probably around 7k at least so I'm not diving in head first just yet.....

JD, the worst situation for snow enhancing is having mountains on either side of you. Either blast them away or move to the east slope!
