    Just hit 32 at 4:30. Moderate to heavy snow . Approaching 0.5” on board and all surfaces whitened

    Heavy snow has overtaken me

    At 4:05on and 32.7F I went over to all light snow.

    Down to 33.9 and light 50:50 sleet and graupel. No raindrops . Probably 0.75” “wasted” snow accumulation And I say that not complaining but for comparisons to what might have been And what we thought it would be.

    3pm obs Moderate to heavy graupel with sleet mixed in but no flakes . Down to 34.6 and it’s whitened. Probably lost 0.5 snow accumulation is last 20-30 minutes due to graupel and sleet

    1pm obs literally in the dot at 1pm my temp fell to 35.4 and now its mostly snow

    White in the precip now and temp dropped 1F in last 15 minutes to 36.3.

    Astounding cold air is coming in and I think even inside the Bektwat(Beltway in non Romanian)is all snow by 12 noon Sunday and this is not an ender after just couple hours of snow. More like snow thru 8pm and heavy from about 2 to 7.

    When we talk about I95 how does that break down mileage wise ? is “Along” say within 10 miles and then north and west greater than 10!or 20 or 30?

    High of 42 and now 33. Stayed clear and radiated out good with 80% snow cover here. Tomorrow mess around with rain and mix and get ready for better

    I also think that when the cold air plunge begins that 0.1” won’t equate to 0.75-1” but rather to close to 2”.

    I got a feeling that there will be some pushback on AI model because it’s going to display the consistency of forecasting that all the rest never have . Taking away the ever changing unpredictability won’t be well received by some because the necessity of deciphering the situation will decrease via the consistency of the AI .

    Percentage wise for outside the beltway I’ll go 0-2”:10% 2-4”-50% 4-6”-25% 6”+-15%

    The sun is still in the off position and 30-32 with steady snow won’t fritter away
