    Pretty nice trend on the EPS over the past 36 hours.

    Measured a little over 3" on the table this morning, would have likely been between 3.5" -4" if I had taken correct measurements throughout. Not a bad little storm considering.

    It came down nicely between around 11-2am. There was a nice band that developed over our area.

    Coming down as heavy as it has all day. Another batch seems to be intensifying out towards Petersburg/Moorfield area that should keep it going for a while yet.

    Eyeballing close to 2". The roads caved around 5:30 here. Intensity has picked up and radar looks good to the west. Looks like the next hour or two will be the best rates of the storm out this way. Might be able to eek out 3-4" if I'm lucky. Congrats to everyone that's getting dumped on.     Last four runs of the NAM. It's been very consistent.

    Very slight step back from 6z but still by far the best model for northern areas.

    I know we're too close to the event to worry about what the ensembles show, but the GEFS have definitely been trending weaker and more south over the past four runs.

    12z GFS definitely took a little step back with the snow totals on the northern end and dropped the max stripe in VA a little further south. Not the trend was hoping to see.

    Come game time I bet that jack stripe is right over our area. Definitely time for it to continue the north trend.

    I really like where we sit right now at 48 hours out. Would not be surprised at all if the jack to ends up in our area. Let's reign this one in.

    I feel your pain. I was so pumped I couldn't sleep. Got maybe two hours and now at my sons wrestling tournament all day. This smile hasn't come off my face!
