  7. Not a word about the Euro at the end of January!??? Telling
  8. I wouldn’t worry about the super cold looks on the models, they havnt panned out all winter, why would they start now? Yesterday was supposed to be “ deadly” cold, I had highs and lows about 8-10 degrees below normal.

  12. I don’t know about your backyard, but down here, we are forecast to hit 43 or so today, and GSP says clouds roll in before dark, so almost no radiational cooling will be nil! With light rates, temp won’t wetbulb much, even with DPs in the teens
  13. Each 7-8 day threat is going poof or rain! Then the 8-10 day storm, poofs or rains, there’s a pattern, and it sucks for snowlovers!
  14. I think the off hour Euro runs, only go out to like 84 hours
  15. Brick:” Carolina Crusher 2, electric bugaloo!”
  16. Let’s discuss this mini ice situation Tuesday night?? Man it’s cold and dry out! NE winds still stiff! How’s the hi res models looking?
  17. Nothing like a good 7-10 Euro op run to get juices flowing!? They can’t even get a cold outbreak right!
  18. 12z GFS even hint at the icing, the early light precip, but frozen only in NC
  19. Think the CMC was overdone with the last frozen event a few Saturdays back! It was constantly the coldest and most robust with frozen
  20. It flurried here all day, as close as Spartanburg had 6-8”, we were too far NW! It blew up right off the NC coast, too far from us
