    It’s because all the snow clouds! They are stopping the radiational cooling! Tomorrow night, teens look easily achievable, due to fresh snowpack!

    No shortage of big rain storms on the GFS! Rain every 3-6 days, the only cool periods are between rains! I’m hoping for a 2009 redux! Not one flake or pellet down here until March 1st!

    The 30th storm is our only hope! A lot better than the last few runs, and still a lot of work!

    That Tuesday/Wednesday disturbance dropping through the plains , has become more robust on the 12z today! And I think it gets together with something to form the coastal, which has also inches closer to the coast. Grasping , I know, but what else do we have to track besides the next warm up

    The MA thread isn’t even hopeful anymore! But the weeklies are cold into March!? They are always money!!

    Our local weather guy just showed future radar, it’s looking highly likely that my area will see some sleet and flurries at onset! He also had a 20% chance of snow on Tuesday, saying he’s watching a disturbance!

    Lol! Seems like we track one of these a winter, where they start way off the coast, plenty of cold air, we watch incremental shifts West, only to finally end up with flurries on the outer banks

    There is nothing even remotely positive in the long range, if you like cold and snow! A week ago, we looked to be entering a glorious patter on into February and good cold MJO phases, now we are just looking at a crap pattern of normal to above,after the next 5 days Its amazing to me how a 10-15 day snow storm can show up for 3 or 4 runs and then vanish, but once that 14 day fantasy blizzard tracks across CHI, with rain up to there, it’ll lock in and never waver at 10-15 rains

    If your looking for cold, there doesn’t appear to be any, outside of the next 4-5 days, then back to normal or above! It sucks because normal temps even in January, won’t get us snow! I knew JB jinxed it yesterday when he said cold was coming the last 2 weeks of January and atleast 1st half of February, non stop for the East !
