  1. I don't mean to be rude, but are you having a debate with yourself? Lol. I dont know to much about NCEI adjustments but I'd enjoy seeing some of your temperature data presented with average windspeed and humudity too. My friend who is spent some time as a climate physicist seemed to take uncorrected wet bulb as the most important measurement.
  2. Its been a pretty hot summer. A quick snap from cold to warm.
  3. I think we see something from this. Last's nights storm helped. Its been hot. Ground is rock solid.
  4. It always surprises me how reliable Phoenixville is with the high temperature (it also holds the PA state record) versus the more southerly plains and barrens of Chester County (not to mention the heat island effect of Coatesville and Exton). Afterall its 28 miles north of the border and next to the largest river in the county. I guess that's why they call it Phoenixville... Warwick doesn't surprise me one bit considering its high elevation and it being in the largest continuous forest between NYC and Baltimore.
  5. Flying from PHL to MCO (Orlando) for a trade show. Hooping the weather works out for my flight tonight.
  6. We got a wiper washer on Saturday night so not as bad here. Allergies have been brutal this year.
  7. Never got quite that hot here in the hills of NW Chesco. It was pretty breezy on Monday.
  8. Lucking out with the weather recently. Last week a followed the blizzard to some fresh powder skiing in Pico, VT- thankfully no snow on the NY thruway which stayed rain most of the way to the mountains. Two nice days over the weekend and just high altitude clouds for the Eclipse which made for great viewing.
  9. Microburst are often but not always associated with thunderstorms. Interesting weather- I find it very typical March weather for the area.
  10. PECO should have invited the math class instead-- its sounds like that's where they really needed the help!!
  11. Neat-- I've always wanted to go. Im working on learning Swedish.
  12. Probably more like a Tulip crusher. Some of daffodil will be finished by then.
  13. Interesting observation. Its kind of like tornado alley shifting 150 miles eastward over the past few decades.
  14. Indeed, it was a good measurement. Unbelievable how localized the totals were.
  15. This did not disappoint. The 13.8" in Macungie lived up to the hype at Bear Creek Mountain Resort-- deepest fresh powder I've ever skied. It was like the perfect amount. Definitely the light fluffy high ratio stuff!
  16. Sun is out here in Thorndale. Roads were rough getting to work. No all-wheel drive = stay home. All sorts of carnage on the road from Tractor trailers to Toyotas to Bamboo and Telephone poles. Modeling saying there's a chance at some more snow on Saturday too!
