  1. Yes. A bump like that is pretty amazing. We'll have that hanging over our heads for the next couple of decades.
  2. All this talk of averages reminds me that the local mets mentioned boston is at 41" and we're only about 9 inches from normal. When did KBOS go to 50 for an average? Most of my life it has been about 40", maybe 43? Did the post 90s kick in?
  3. 41 now and many local stations above 40. Looking at mid 40s here unless we seabreeze...
  4. I like Kevin. Not a lot of bench strength for boston mets and even less now..
  5. The back pedaling for the mets is going to be something to behold if this trend has legs...
  6. No sun here but 40 for a high and some noticeable melting.
  7. Out here it looks like its about 12 hours of snow to get 2".
  8. Late winter storms are the best. Snow, followed by AN temps typically meaning melt off is fast and residual ice is rarely a problem. Longer days also meaning less work at night.
  9. Considering the salt situation, many contractors would love that...
  10. Many a good to great winter was built on the 2-6" clippahs
  11. FFS its just slightly warmer weather. People losing their shit over 38 degrees in February.
  12. Some TV mets are mentiong how a small shift in the trough will mean a big difference.
  13. The mets this morning and last night all had the 2-4 3-6 but they all hedged their forecasts. Daybreak should be interesting here on the coast.
  14. Big problem is the labor shortage. People don't talk about it but most of the contractors I know ( including me) have equipment sitting because of the lack of drivers and operators. It's only going to get worse, too.
  15. I feel your pain here in the city as well. Infrastructure is already bursting at the seams
  16. The only downside to this map is it might take 12 hours or more to fall.
  17. 36 two days I a row. Almost ordered an ice coffee...almost.
