The first 8 days of December are averaging 45degs.(41/50). Making it 40degs., or just Normal. EURO is much colder for the period. GFS has not been vaccinated yet. 54*(99%RH) here at 6am, overcast 50* by Noon. 49* by 12:30pm. 48* by 2pm. 47* by 2:30pm. 45* by 3pm. 42* by 7pm. 40* by 10pm. 39* by 10:30pm.

GEFS Extended has already surrendered the 20" 30_Day_Total---it recently indicated for the Control Member---and dropped it to 8" (all from a single event on the 13th) which means 0" total. Atlanta GA is doing better at this moment with snow flurries and a drop down to 28* by morning, than we might over the next two weeks.

What's with the TORNADO WATCH from just south of NYC down through Delaware?

The first 10 days of December are averaging 43degs.(38/47). Making it 37degs., or -3.0. There is no Snow showing for the period or through the first half of the month for that matter, since Dec.14 now keeps showing up as Rain in the 50's-----instead of the earlier snow in the 30's. The GEFS Extended which not many days ago showed Winter arriving with T's in the 60's, now greets the cold solstice with a major snowstorm and has a total of 20" for the month. Plenty of time for it to reach 40" and drop back to 0" many times.

GEFS is really making the alleged BN period for the first half of December look like a head fake. There are no 5-Day periods showing as BN. Closest is the period centered on the 10th. Traces of snow that showed successively for the 2nd, 5th, 7th. and 10th. have melted.

GALE Watch for Monday AM to midnight in the coastal areas. As indicated on models, wind gusts inhibited on the land areas. But I will get some gusts by being near ocean.

The last 3 days of November are averaging 51degs[46/56]. Making it 49degs., or +6.0. Month to date is 53.1[+4.9]. November should end at 52.8[+5.2]. Some snow near Dec. 10th. indicated. 51*(63%RH) here at 6am, overcast. 54* by 11am(sun,clouds). 56* by 1pm. 57* by 3pm. down to 46* by 11pm.

Some BN T's YES----but accumulating snow NO. All the Ensembles are basically barren. GEFS leads the trio with a 20% chance of at least 2" in the next 15 days, or a 60% chance of seeing anything that can be measured. The EURO and CMC Ensembles are just 20% to 30% of seeing anything. I will keep checking to detect an improvement. Dec. 10-12 could have our first sub-32 degree High T.

The last 4 days of November are averaging 54degs.[47/57]. Making it 51degs., or +8.0. Month to date is 53.0[+4.6]. November should end at 52.7[+5.0]. Nothing but Traces of snow indicated on any model (near Dec. 06,07). At least when the T dips below 50 on Dec. 01, there is no indication of its return during December-----IWBIWICit. 54*(75%RH) at 6am, m. clear. 53* at 7am. 56* by 10am. 58* by Noon. (clouded up and feels humid) 60* at 1pm. 61* at 1:30pm. 59* at 5pm, and most of the PM. 52* by 11pm.

Anyone else reach 67*? That is where I peaked for a few minutes near 3:15pm. Unlikely that a coastal area had the highest T. Both 12Z, 18Z GFS are cold and dry starting Dec. 02. 18Z cut the precipitation for Nov. 30-Dec.01 to a third---to 0.60"---of the 12Z.

The last 5 days of November are averaging 54degs.[48/59]. Making it 50degs., or +7.0. Month to date is 52.7[+4.1]. November should end at 52.2[+4.6]. Latest GFS run is Cold for the start of December, but snow less (clueless too?) At any rate, the uncorrected average is 41[38/45]. This would be a +1.0, but I would go with a corrected average of 35, or -5.0 for the first 7 days of December. 57*(99%RH) at 6am, rain. 60* at 7am. 58* by 9am. 59* by 10am. 62* at 11:30am, but 60* at Noon. 65* at 1:30pm. 66* with some sun at 3pm. 67* at 3:15pm. 60* by 7pm. 57* by 10pm.

Only if you line your street with Dry Ice--------Ooops! -----the government has bought all of it up for the transport/storage of those vaccines. Sorry, December 4-5 has or had a better chance. The BN air does not really reach us now till Week 2.

CMC is 7" on Dec. 04. Real issue is how many hurricanes is it showing at that time! Lol. CMC has lost all our Snow on latest run (12Z) and now has snow down to Florida. (Route 95, anyone?) Still looking for those ubiquitous CMC TC's. Lol x 2!

EURO Control for the Weeklies still has the Hudson Bay region at +10F to +25F for an entire month starting the Dec. 08, so no Arctic Air invasion is going to happen here. Average T for the next 6 weeks is +5F, just like last Jan, Feb, Mar. JB still says get it done around here by December 15th or the 20th. Winter ends December 21st.! I once again will soothe myself with the thoughts of The Ten Day Winter, ala Feb. 05-15 1983. Even that failed last winter.

The last 7 days of November are averaging 51degs.[46/55]. Making it 46degs., or +3.0. Month to date is 53.2[+4.3]. November should end at 51.5[+4.0]. Using the uncorrected 51, November would end at 52.7. Our chances for any Action/Jackson look dim. The only item I see is that Tampa's 32 straight month run w/o a BN one---will be in jeopardy at the start of December. W/O the correction I always apply, this would be the warmest November ever. We could gain 40 degrees worth of surplus and thus another 40/30 = +1.3. It actually indicates 6 more 60-Degree Days are possible by months end. I am not talking about being vaccinated with a debilitated virus, but getting exposed from the environment the way 10's of millions have worldwide. Isn't that what we are trying to achieve?
