I still have snow on the ground in my portion of the immediate metro. Weird.

Finished a hair under 3”, avg of 2.85” at my different boards. Board on the north side of my house had the most at alittle over 3”.

Yeah thats pretty rough by them unfortunately. If we can stay in light to moderate until 11 or so like some of the mesos show even in rockland we’re gonna be above 3”. Its borderline right now depending on where the subsidence stays.

Dare i say borderline heavy the last 10 mins or so….Still above 1/4 mile vis but not by much. About to hit 2”.

32, daytime sun angle, heavily trafficked ny thruway. Slush and snow covered. I was told this wasnt possible?

All roads covered, nice start. Cant beat driving to the store in the snow with Nat King Cole on the radio.

And @IrishRob17 thought i was joking when i said i keep the lawn higher for the last mow for that reason. Snow sticks to the top of the grass, i bury the ruler all the way to the frozen ground underneath, can easily inflate my totals another 2” sometimes lol. of course on the flip side is the guys who poopoo 1-3” snowfalls saying “it wont stick on the roads we wont get that much the models are wrong”…because we measure on 42nd street apparently.

Is that really a cutter? It doesnt even make it into the contintental US. Its just a northern stream storm a few hundred miles north of us.

That band over rockland is light snow but wont die. Ill check in a few but def around 5”

We dont live in buffalo. Many areas of our sub just received our biggest snow in a few years, and a few of those places will end december above average in snowfall. Asking for more than that because a cutter is coming is insane.

Temps taking a nosedive here now. Was 30-31 the last few hours, now down to 26.
