I guess time will tell. Anything is possible hard to believe we don't get at least 2 consecutive days of that 100 degree heat this summer before is all is said and done.
My location is at an elevation of according to my elevation app 440 ft I am surrounded by a mountain on the south side. topof mountain elevation is 1150 ft and hills on the other 3 sides of me. So you'd say I live in a bowl. Now I can go down to the creek that is about 100ft from my house down there and it is about 5 degrees cooler there. There are trees at the creek but the area here at the house there are no trees. Don't worry when the sun gets lower in the sky and the days shorten in September I will lose the heating effect that I enjoy now. In winter I only see the sun about 6 hours. It rises after 9 and is gone by 3.
We can only hope for rain .12 rain since the last week of June isn't cutting it. The field corn leaves are pointed up and the lawns on the other side of the creek from where I live are turning brown. I'm a little more fortunate where I live as I live in the lowlands. But I am starting to see changes here too. I watered Sunday 4 hrs pumping water from the creek to my garden Had everything in the garden watered good. But that sun yesterday with that wind dried it out again.
