Nws has me in the 60% chance of showers this afternoon. The te and carpet people are really downplaying the event.

Not according to 27 WHTM they say mainly dry this week.

Sparse indeed, .06 here didn't get through the trees to the ground.

It could be getting too much sun. That unit has a solar powered fan (it does work as I can hear the fan running) that SUPPOSED to circulate the air so it does read accurate. I'm almost sure I have a little micro climate here in the summer. But winter not at all as it can get cold sometimes very cold.

A little stream originates about 200 ft. From the house. It gets wild when there is heavy rain as a lot of runoff from the mountain channels into it.

To everyone concerned where my weather station is placed I have some pics. had to go to the computer to do it though.

no I have to get a pic where my accurite weatherstation is placed. everytime I try to get a pic from my phone to this website it says its too large and wont submit it.

My forecast high was to be 80 hit 91 before the clouds showed up.

Well we will take anything we can get at this point. I think 2011 was similar to where we are now And that changed on Labor Day when potent thunderstorms moved through in the evening dumping 2 in of rain. Followed by the remnants of Tropical storm Lee that dumped over 12in. of rain here. I remember it was very dry here in 2011.
