And I want people to really pause and take a look at the situation down along the Gulf coast. This is absolutely historical for that area. Never have they had a storm like that down there. This is amazing and just being a weather nerd I'm geeking out about this.

I'm surprised my humidity is at 60 percent already. Hopefully we see some mood flakes out of this.

Yeah I agree. The radar is picking up some echos way north than what was modeled. We will see in the next 6 or so hours...

Gfs has moved west more. Precipitation looks further north on radar. Current temp is 14 with 60 percent humidity

NAM looked even better for us tonight and the gfs inched even closure for us. We will see. Current temp and low of 5.

Gfs was an improvement but not there yet. We will see what tomorrow morning brings.

I mean the NAM is brief but with temps in the teens the ratios would be maybe an inch or two....

In all seriousness I think we do see continued adjustments even into tomorrow. This is another complex system with an Arctic outbreak.

Yeah I think our all time cold temps came from that 1985 Arctic outbreak.

After a high of 19 I'm down to 11 degrees already. This cold is stout. No records though as the Arctic outbreak of 1985 is right in the time period and that was a beast of a cold front.
