    That severe cluster of storms may need to be watched overnight for us especially the southern mountains.

    Lots of storms firing. Going to be an active afternoon in the area.

    Climate change or the extremely strong pac jet? Or the higher water temps in the gulf? To me seems like there are several variables and not just one.

    Yeah some impressive storms from Nashville west. Really the models short range have been hit and miss this season.

    Had a wonderful cold low of 41 degrees. Was hoping to hit the 30s one last time but just not quite there.

    This has been showing up for several runs now. A huge cutoff low.

    Had a low of 44 with a high of 66 and current temp of 56 beautiful degrees!

    Had a freaking beautiful high of 64 on May 30th! Current temp down to 57.

    46 at me casa also! An absolute treat for the end of May.

    Oh yeah! 67 here currently and absolutely beautiful for May 29th. Things look great into June as well.

    Yeah the past and current pattern moving forward looks really good temp wise and moisture wise. No real heat wave and no drought conditions especially after several in the region has seen 10 to 12 inches in just this one month...

    Had a low of 48 this morning. So far a perfect morning weather wise.

    This months been extremely wet. Amazing that's basically what Asheville has this whole month.

    What a way to end out May! After a freaking extremely wet and severe month here in the mountains we are going to end on a sunny and absolutely beautiful pattern.     We got hammered this morning! The storms knocked out our power initially with high winds heavily rainfall and lots of lightning. We are still getting heavy rain. We have well over 2 inches of rainfall just from today.
