  1. Current temp is 30 degrees with a light dusting and snowing lightly.
  2. Happy New Years guys! Hope everyone stayed sage last night.
  3. 41 here with clouds rolling in. Windy as heck here.
  4. The wave coming in on the 6th and 7th looks robust tonight. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah I noticed that the past several runs it was looking better and better for the mountains.
  6. IV looked over the models today. Things look good and the sky isn't falling...
  7. It's a step up process with our snow..Small to bigger each system.
  8. Another small system around the 3rd. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  9. It's not much but it's a start. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  10. Again I'm rooting like he'll for you guys. I hope yall get buried the next few weeks. I really want yall to score big time.
  11. Question at this point does it matter? Not trying to be an ass but we know the models are going to change run by run. Especially when we have a PNA ridge, blocking, 50/50, and the PV looks like it's going to make it's way down into the lower 48. This all plays havoc on the modeling. We've seen things blow up within 2 to 3 days from the event. Just like earlier when several saw snow for the first time in 3 years.
  12. I have to disagree with the above assertions. Maybe I'm too optimistic, but this has and is a step-down process. The first cold front is tomorrow, then around the 3rd, then around the 6th, then around the 10th. This map just shows me the possibilities that we will have with energy flying around. Looks good to me. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  13. When I read that I was thinking the same thing. I'm like what the heck happens at 10 pm... It's just normal frozen Tundra cold....
  14. The pattern from New years moving forward has a ton of potential for multiple events and some extremely cold weather. Not only the OP models but also the ENS suits as well show what an active pattern may set up.
  15. Dang this is brutal. Our source region looks plenty cold. An Extreme Cold Warning has been issued for Umiat and the Western Arctic Plains until 10 PM tonight. Dangerously cold temperatures as low as -50 with wind chills as low as -75 are expected. Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if exposed to the temperatures. Make sure to wear the appropriate clothing if you plan to be outside. #akwx Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  16. Not sure about event total yet but the Pigeon river is rolling this afternoon. A daunting look for badly flooded communities in Clyde and Canton. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  17. I think we are in great position. Looks like some nice events.
  18. Too much digging and everything is suppressed to hell. With the possibility of a severe arctic outbreak on the horizon I'd like to keep the storm track near us and not in Florida.
  19. This is dangerous serious cold right here
  20. In my opinion, the EPS has been leading the charge with the cold invasion. It looks really cold and even smoothed out. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  21. A lot of great looking indices this morning from the CPC. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  22. Yeah if I use tapatalk I have to scroll down because this thread isn't pinned yet. Maybe yall can get @Mr Bobto pin this today or one of our own like @jburns. Hope this helps.
