    GFS is really coming into the EURO camp with this weekend storm. Looks much better overall.

    Just hit 32 and its snowing here.

    One thing is that there is a lot of energy flying around so the models are going to be playing catch-up especially this week. Don't live or die by one model run or you will hate this hobby...

    The 00z GFS took a big step towards the EURO for a storm next weekend. We will see.

    No snow but we are down to 33. The wind is ripping.

    The 12z gfs didn't look great but the 12z ensembles look great to me. A very steady cold pattern with chances for storms.

    That was a great run for sure.

    Yeah the 12z Euro has multiple chances for snow and cold. Like a parade of storms coming from the north. I like these trends.

    Yeah I went from 24 to 40 degrees in about 6 hours...

    It did not warm up nearly as warm.as they were saying and we are already down to 29 degrees.

    I this upcoming pattern is going to be ripe for some decent to big time storms.

    Rain finally changing to frozen precipitation here in town.

    Yeah I noticed the change in direction from the precipitation field coming in. Should be a decent flow event tonight with plummeting temps.

    Yeah the cold air did not get in here and the moisture is well West of us. A hit and a miss. On to the next one.

    Lots of great signs moving forward. I do think we will score this month. The EPS and the Euro weeklies continue to look great for the next 3 to 4 weeks.

    Welp we may get some backside snow tonight but no need to get down. The signals for an active cold pattern are very much alive. The new Euro weeklies are cold for at least the next three weeks. The EPS looks really great as well as the ensembles. Just be patient grasshoppers.
