  1. Yeah no kidding. This is going to be a dynamic system but the colder the surface is the higher the ratios are going to be.
  2. A storm that is advertised like this with possible winds there is a good chance the power goes out. In terms of accumulations keep it simple buy saying this is a 6-12 inch storm and leave it at that. Anything more is just icing on the cake.
  3. Good Lord it basically just started snowing and looks like it has laid down 3 to 6 inches already in the south central mountains.
  4. I say let's get through Friday and we can maybe have some breathing room. Be excited but cautiously...
  5. Ill remind everyone we still have 3 days for this to go to crap. Don't want that but there is definitely a chance for that. These type storms are tricky and last minute adjustments may mean a lot in the big picture of things.
  6. Meh doesn't matter really. WLOS have always been pretty conservative anyways. But do you blame them? We have gotten burnt a few times already this season....
  7. Yeah Jason has always been like that. Very nice guy in person but I also think someone above him is pulling the strings.
  8. GFS back on the snow train for tomorrow night lol.
  9. We are coming to a consensus. The mountains are the place to be for this storm. Hands down.
  10. I think this is going to go from cement to fluff as the low crosses over the app.
  11. We are in a perfect position. You going to love this.
  12. Yeah mountains wide this is the best setup we have seen in several years. We have cold air in place, a deep low bombing out, deep moisture from the Gulf, a very strong cold front blasting through with rich moisture wrapping around the low and the cold air squeezing out every ounce of moisture in the air that will fall across the mountains. This could be one heck of a storm.
  13. Damn great run fellas! Heck yeah! Exactly what we want to see.
  14. I think we actually see a correction to a better solution here in the mountains.
