  1. Yeah im pretty dang excited also. Lets get through this Euro run then let it fly.
  2. Yeah 93 was huge but we have had several foot plus storms were I remember us having to get the tractor out because of the snow.
  3. Oh yeah had close to 2 feet with that whole storm also. Back to back great December's.
  4. Yep December 18 2009! Was before my time on the board but I had 2 feet in my front yard. Only lost power for 6 hours. They had to get a front end loader to clear the roads out in Fines Creek area because it was waist deep especially near Max Patch.
  5. Yeah especially if we get temps in the single digits... Game over.
  6. Yeah I think that will be a great spot. The mountains in general are going to be sitting pretty...
  7. Dang thats a beautiful sight! Thank gosh we are getting consistency. Last one up is the EURO...
  8. Good job on the pbp. Yeah everything looks great from my perspective.
  9. Its wrong. The profiles for the NAM that far out are shit plain and simple. Remember this is long range NAM...
  10. Intermittent blizzard conditions with those winds...
  11. Right now it's just the overall pattern on the NAM. once we get into tomorrow we can put some weight into it.
  12. Yeah plus we are looking out at long range on the NAM which is the same as looking at hour 360 on the GFS.
  13. NAM showing some mixing towards the later part of the run but im very suspect of that also.
  14. Yeah NAM starts hammering us around hour 69... Deep deep blue.
  15. I personally don't think downsloping is going to be a factor for anyone really because of the way the system moves. It's going to come in from the south rotating coming from the SE to east possibly then rotating the axis of moisture from a west to end with a NW flow setup. Black mountain should be in a great spot.
  16. The 6z euro snow map is absolutely insane. Ive not seen totals spit out like that in probably 5 to 6 years here.
  17. Welcome to the sane and steady handed mountain thread. We don't live by one run as we look at things as a whole. We do have the advantage of living in the mountains and foothills so that helps tremendously.
  18. Wow this mornings GFS absolutely smokes us here in the mountains. Verbatim anywhere from 1 to 2 feet of snow across a large portion of the viewing area.
  19. Oh yeah I love these board wide storms. Hopefully our friends down east and to the south can cash in.
  20. I really hope we have seen the last of that. Sure we will have some wobbles with each model run but I can deal with that.
  21. Everything looked good on the overnight models. Im not looking for huge totals but for consistency now.
  22. Guys im out. Post lots of reading material for me in the morning.
