Euro not a bad look. Definitely doesn't take the low through the mountains. As for nothing blocking the low we have a reinforcing shot of cold air tonight from a cold front. That's why some are seeing upslope snow tonight again. That high isn't retreating by Friday. It is setting in. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk

I just did. It's irregular and not a trend at this point. Not denying but I've done this a long time. The NAM isn't a trend setter.

That's a huge inconsistency from the NAM tonight.

Moderate snow falling now. Deck and Truck dusted before the wind blows it everywhere.

Just looked out and we've got light snow. Temp is down to 15 degrees and windy. Whoever said this was going to be a stagnant Arctic airmass isn't paying attention to the models.

That's a great sign. Both the GFS and Euro looking better for the evening models.

Too me it's just minor changes with the system. Sure minor changes can have big consequences but I think the next 24 hours we will get a better picture. That's the way it always has been..We go right down to go time.

Gfs took a more positive approach this evening for the mountains here.

I'd say because of the mountain range there and the trajectory of the moisture that is an enhanced flow coming from the SW moisture.

Clouds rolling back in. After a high of 25 we are already back down to 20 degrees with a stiff breeze.

I think us in the mountains are fine. I actually think the backside snow is being undercast by the models also.

I honestly don't see us going from heavy snow to freezing rain. That dog don't hunt here.
