    As we are seeing as we get closer to this event the snow line has shifted east for the mountains. Elevation will help a lot in this type setup. Not really sure about that area but things look great for you guys over the border. Should be a fun event.

    Looks like we go from 60 degrees for a high Saturday to the 20s for a high Sunday with accumulating snow.

    You can see the moisture starting to bank up against the mountains currently.

    Really we have made a remarkable recovery this season with January and to me anything extra is just icing on the cake.

    Some of the higher elevations will see some snow tonight as the bottom falls back out.

    Yep same here. Pretty remarkable even at 50 degrees. We have literally had snow on the ground basically the whole month of January.

    Iv got 23 inches total this year so far. Im very happy with that especially since the disaster December was.

    NAO has been positive this whole month pretty much. There are other drivers in the pattern.

    Man I hate you missed this. I busted on the low end but that's a good thing! Hunter did great with his forecast. It's absolutely beautiful here. We have almost as much as we did two weekends ago.
