yeah, I just looked at the latest drought monitor and was surprised that there wasnt more improvement from the most recent rains.

I was just thinking about how there have been all these extreme rain events (obviously not here recently) but not really an extreme snow event.  But that could just be from my perspective.

We got a tenth of an inch on friday to bring the monthly total to .75".  Ouch.  went riding yesterday and there are so many leaves down it looks like stick season already.

went up to cold spring in the afternoon.  you can really see the tree damage from the river.

Dog days of august

A paltry .12” on the day.  Not good.

I drove up to fahnstock this afternoon and it was much drier (and dire )up there than down here.  Trees looked like the end of October.
