A disappointing 5” at 7:30 am in Jewett. Snowed pretty good most of the morning. 2-3” on the car when I got back to it. Must’ve been just too far north. and 4” here at the homestead. Nice wintery look for a couple of days.

Hasn’t snowed much here. Maybe an inch otg.

I’ll be lucky to get 4” down here but I’m heading upstate this afternoon. Will be reporting from Jewett and skiing bellayre tomorrrow.

My p&c is down to 4-8” which I think is more reasonable than the previous 8-12”.

My nws forecast is up to 8-12” but I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have a negative bust.

upton has my hood at 4-8". I'll sign for that.

I read the storm threads from SNE. At least those guys talk about the forecast somewhat. The comment to the effect who cares about north of 287 is just idiotic.

I’m at 1500’ and it’s snowed the last 3 nights and still coming down at 18f. Everything is white again.

We had flooding issues at a prior residence in nj. There literally is ‘nothing worse. Sorry.

Ended up with 2.5” (which is less than 3 local reporting stations which were all over 3”).

I can’t remember when things happened especially pre pandemic. That part of my brain is all mixed up. We had a 3 foot snow in croton sometime in the early 2000s but I can’t recall precisely what year. Pretty sure it was a school holiday week because the wife took the kids up to her parents and i was alone and trapped for a few days. on to todays shit show. Nws upped the forecast to 3-5”. Great. It’s the latter part of December and not even a hint of a chance this could be anything close to frozen. Gutters are all clear. Attempted to address persistent small chimney leak so this will be a good test.

That was filmed in the mrv vt. Will be there for the holiday.

1.41” in the bucket. Had a busy week and didn’t realize we were going to get this much. leaves r still hanging on for the most part. Oaks haven’t turned yet although the Japanese maple is just starting.
